Iconic products from uniquely American brands were in many ways the starting point in defining our identity. Things like the Coleman metal cooler, the LL Bean barn coat & the Eddie Bauer down jacket. Like Orvis bamboo fly rods & Old Town canoes.
The story told by those products is all about simplicity, function & timelessness. The aesthetic they conjure is harder to define … I like to call it mail-order catalog vibes.
C&R is about bringing some of that world to your life. Giving new life to old gear, but also transforming traditional outdoor-oriented garments into something unexpected & style-forward. Something with more potential for self-expression, yet still grounded with a timeless energy.
